    Garrett and Emma

Garrett and Emma are just gorgeous children. I loved their little personalities, and how expressive they both were. Can you believe that cute smile of Emma's? And Garrett was so sweet, he kept bringing me flowers that he had picked (which is probably against the rules at Botanical Gardens, but it was so cute, I just couldn't stop him! I figure they have plenty of flowers there, they won't miss one or two tiny yellow ones :) ). Thank you, Lea Anne, for letting me spend the afternoon with your precious children.

Adam and I just bought a house in a cute little neighborhood in Moody. It's our first house, and we have had so much fun getting to know our neighbors. We've gotten to spend the most time with our next-door neighbors Diane, Rufus, and Mitchell. I was so thrilled when Diane wanted me to photograph Mitchell's baseball awards ceremony. The boys were so excited about their medals and trophies (which, by the way, have come a long way since I played sports as a kid). I hope I captured Mitchell's cute personality in its truest form.

    Elizabeth

I met Elizabeth and her mom at Botanical Gardens last weekend for a graduation photo shoot. (I don't know why, but I don't like the term "senior portraits"....it makes me think of having to wear that ugly drape in front of the tacky glamour shots backdrop. I'm just going to stick with "graduation photos" if that's ok with everyone.) Anyways, Elizabeth is so poised and photogenic, I really had an easy job! Thanks, Elizabeth, for letting me shoot your photos!

    The Mitchells

I really enjoyed spending time with the Mitchells on Saturday. Family photo sessions are becoming my favorite. They really challenge me to think of new and creative ways to capture a family's unique relationships and personalities. I hope that I did the Mitchell family justice! They were so funloving--they made my job easy!
